Bienvenue Provence Rugs!

We are so happy to be teaming up with Libby and Delana of Provence Rugs to offer their beautiful, handmade, typically Provencal-style rugs in our French boutique! Libby first brought some of the artisanal rugs home for herself about 10 years ago, when vacationing in France. The woman who makes them in Provence only sells them at four outdoor markets in the south of France, which meant the only way to get one was by visiting the region of Provence...not always so easy to do.

“I have never seen them in the USA,” Wilkie says. “Ever.” Until now! 

Provence Rugs come in three sizes (small, medium or large) and a multitude of Provencal colors - azure blue, sunflower yellow, springtime green and poppy red are just a few of the colors you'll find in the selection. The fabric borders of the rugs feature cigales, a favorite symbol of Provence or French bees, an emblem of French royalty.

These rugs are 100% cotton, are handmade and due to their artisan nature, sizes are approximate and colors can vary slightly in hue.
